Wife loved the shrimp and grits with tangy andouille sausage and other friend had WHOLE rock cod that had some smokey sauce over it that made it unique. They accommodated my diet restriction for potatoes by serving fresh farm peas (in the pods) peas and roasted asparagus. The organic roasted bird was like butta’ inside and crispy skin on the outside. Every restaurant has chicken on the menu and I have my own favorite recipes so no big deal, right? Wrong. Appetizers of calamari (crispy) and a golden beet salad were exquisite. ![]() Table service by Alyson (hope I spelled that right!) was friendly and efficient. The hostess got us settled and gave us a few suggestions along with a very cordial welcome. Had dinner at this delightful Inn the last day of our visit to Mendicino.
